The Captivating community of Lakeview

Welcome to the community of Lakeview in southwest Calgary along the north shore of Glenmore Reservoir with gently rolling landscape providing glimpses of Glenmore Reservoir and the Elbow River Valley.

Nestled between Glenmore Trail Sw and Crowchild Trail SW to 37th Street SW, the western city limits at this point. The Tsuu T'ina Nation Indian reserve borders it to the west.
Lakeview is within Calgary which sits on Treaty 7 territory, on the lands of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot), Iyarhe Nakoda, and TsuuT’ina Nations, as well as Region 3 of the Alberta Métis Nation.

The Calgary Rowing Club and Calgary Canoe Club are located in the south of the community, adjacent to the Glenmore Reservoir.
Lakeview residents can access a number of outdoor recreational opportunities, including Glenmore Park, boat docks, regional bike paths, Weaselhead flats hiking trail, and Heritage Park. Numerous hiking and cycling trails are maintained on the shores of the Reservoir, between the Weaselhead flats and Glenmore Trail. Residents can also access Earl Grey Golf Course and the Lakeview Golf Course.

The Lakeview community association is active within the neighborhood.
